Gathering Strength, Embracing the Future - 2023 Yongqing Door Industry Employee Team Building Activity

To enhance teamwork and foster a positive work environment, Shijiazhuang Yongqing Building Materials Wood Industry Co., Ltd. organized an employee outdoor team-building activity on July 14th, themed "Unite Our Hearts, Share the Future." This event aimed to strengthen team cohesion and employee belonging, improve cross-departmental communication and new employee integration, and allow employees to relax and enjoy themselves after intense work, returning to their jobs with renewed enthusiasm.

At 7:30 am on the 14th, everyone gathered in front of the office building, and the uniformly dressed "Yongqing Youth" took photos together. Then, they boarded two buses to the team-building destination—the "Ye Sanpo" scenic area.

 

The journey was short and joyful. Under the guidance of the coach, we played a series of lighthearted and lively warm-up games on the bus. We experienced fun and learned lessons, found patterns and methods, and the bus was filled with enthusiastic applause and cheers.

Before we knew it, we arrived at our destination. After putting down their backpacks and making brief preparations, everyone immediately started the team-building activities: icebreaking.

 

This team-building event focused on "enhancing team cohesion—improving employee sense of belonging—accelerating team integration—promoting cross-departmental communication." Nearly half of the members this year have joined the company for less than a year and are new employees, so accelerating team integration and increasing mutual understanding is particularly important.

The coach created a team atmosphere and built a foundation of mutual trust. Following the coach's instructions, everyone was divided into four teams: red, yellow, blue, and green. Everyone formed and integrated into their teams in the shortest possible time.

 

The afternoon's team-building activities began with a high-altitude challenge. All members needed to overcome their fears, break through their limits, and complete the task with mutual encouragement.

 

The "Across the World" project demonstrated the combination of movement and stillness, enhancing focus; the overall planning tested team coordination.

The Frisbee Carnival project enhanced team trust, built team pride, promoted collaboration, and encouraged facing difficulties. Everyone experienced and practiced the team frisbee spirit of "the disc never lands, never give up." They felt the fun of cooperation and improved team coordination.

 

Each activity was a wonderful contest of wisdom and passion! The four teams were evenly matched, each with its own strengths. In this process, everyone had different experiences, gains, and insights.

Life is a search for food; a spoonful of rice, a dish, creates the warmth of human life. The kitchen is the most authentic part of life and the easiest place to bring people closer together. We broke down barriers with food and melted misunderstandings with team love.

We enjoyed the satisfaction of doing it ourselves and being self-sufficient, and night fell quietly. A "lively and passionate" bonfire party at this time was truly joyful! Under the mysterious night sky, the bonfire's glow surrounded us as we sang, danced, and shared this wonderful moment.

At 6:30 am on the 15th, the team gathered and went to the Bailixia scenic area to begin the morning's task—"Speed Forward." As the name suggests, speed must be considered while moving forward. After receiving the task, participants used maps and compasses to find various task points and unlock as many tasks as possible.

Sweat and happiness are directly proportional. The reason for the happiness is because we gave our all and worked hard! The joy of success is something to be shared by those who have experienced it. Life is like climbing a mountain; what matters is not the result, but the process and the beautiful scenery along the way!

All teams completed the "Speed Forward" tasks, and everyone was tired but happy. Next, Executive Vice General Manager Zeng Jia gave a summary speech on the two-day team-building activities.

Colleagues learned through practical training and changed through experiential learning, benefiting greatly and gaining more insights into life. After experiencing the joy of success brought by dedication, collaboration, and courage, everyone deeply felt the essence of "responsibility, collaboration, and confidence," as well as the responsibilities they should bear as members of a team. A new round of work is about to begin, and everyone will surely dedicate themselves to their work with more energy and enthusiasm.

During the afternoon's free time, everyone experienced the joy of bamboo rafting. Riding on a bamboo raft, drifting gently among the mountains and waters, the mountains and waters intertwined, creating a picturesque scene.

At 4 pm, the team-building activities came to a successful conclusion. This activity allowed employees to get close to nature, appreciate the green mountains and clear waters, demonstrated the company's humane concept of caring for employees, deepened the unity and communication among employees, enriched the knowledge and fun of the corporate culture, and harvested positive energy. The enterprise is a tree, and culture is its roots; deep roots lead to lush leaves. Teams need team building, and team building fosters unity. We believe that Yongqing Door Industry will have a brighter future!
